Shipping Policy

Thank you for choosing H&P Building LLC.
H&P Building manufactures made-to-order and custom architectural metal products. Because many of our products are manufactured specifically for each customer's project, shipping methods, costs, production times, and delivery arrangements may vary depending on the product, dimensions, weight, destination, and order requirements.
Production and Processing Time
Most H&P Building products are made to order. Production time varies depending on the product, size, material, finish, quantity, and level of customization.
Any production or processing timeframe provided on a product page, quotation, invoice, order confirmation, or shop drawing is an estimate unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.
For products requiring customer approval of shop drawings, specifications, dimensions, colors, finishes, or other details, production may begin after the required information and approvals have been received.
Production time is separate from shipping and transit time.
Shipping Methods
H&P Building ships products throughout the United States.
Depending on the size and weight of the order, products may be shipped using parcel carriers, freight carriers, LTL freight, dedicated freight, or other appropriate transportation services.
Large, heavy, oversized, or palletized products may require freight delivery.
Shipping Costs
Shipping costs depend on the product, shipment dimensions and weight, destination, delivery requirements, and carrier rates.
When shipping is available directly through online checkout, the applicable shipping options and charges will be displayed before the customer completes the purchase.
For custom, oversized, heavy, or freight shipments that require an individual shipping quote, the applicable shipping cost and delivery arrangements will be communicated to the customer before shipment.
Estimated Delivery Times
Estimated delivery or transit times begin after production has been completed and the order has been released to the carrier.
Delivery dates and transit times are estimates and are not guaranteed unless expressly confirmed in writing.
Carrier delays, weather conditions, transportation disruptions, remote delivery locations, appointment scheduling, and other circumstances outside H&P Building's reasonable control may affect delivery times.
Freight Deliveries
Large or oversized products may be delivered by freight carrier.
Freight deliveries may require a delivery appointment and someone may need to be present to receive the shipment.
Depending on the shipment and destination, additional services such as residential delivery, liftgate service, limited-access delivery, or other special delivery requirements may result in additional carrier charges.
Customers should provide accurate delivery information and notify H&P Building of any special delivery requirements before shipment.
Order Tracking
When tracking information is available, it will be provided after the order has shipped.
For freight shipments, customers may receive carrier information, tracking or PRO numbers, and delivery scheduling information when applicable.
Inspecting Your Shipment
Customers should inspect shipments promptly upon delivery.
If packaging or merchandise shows visible signs of damage, please note the damage on the carrier's delivery receipt before accepting or signing for the shipment whenever possible.
Please notify H&P Building of shipping damage within 48 hours of delivery and provide the order number, photographs of the product, photographs of the packaging, and a description of the damage.
Prompt notification helps us evaluate the issue and, when applicable, submit a claim with the carrier.
Incorrect or Incomplete Delivery Information
Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping information.
Additional carrier charges resulting from an incorrect address, unsuccessful delivery attempt, address correction, redelivery, storage, or other circumstances caused by inaccurate or incomplete delivery information may be the customer's responsibility.
International Shipping
Availability of international shipping depends on the product and destination. Customers interested in delivery outside the United States should contact H&P Building before placing an order to confirm availability, shipping arrangements, and applicable costs.
Production and Shipping Delays
We make every reasonable effort to meet estimated production and shipping schedules. However, delays may occur because of material availability, custom manufacturing requirements, customer approval delays, weather, carrier scheduling, transportation disruptions, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
We will provide updated information when reasonably available if a significant delay affects an order.
