Corten Steel Weathering Process
Your sculpture may arrive in a dark steel or partially weathered finish. Once placed outside, it will naturally transition into a beautiful orange-brown and deep rust patina. During the early weathering period, rust runoff may occur and can stain porous surfaces such as concrete, stone, or light pavers. For this reason, installation on grass, gravel, or a properly prepared base is recommended.
Production & Shipping
This sculpture is made to order. Please allow approximately 8–12 weeks for fabrication, plus freight transit time. Due to its size and weight, the sculpture ships by freight. Delivery is typically driveway or curbside; the customer should arrange suitable equipment or assistance for unloading and final placement.

All CORTEN STEEL products by H&P Building are supplied in a raw steel finish or with
an oxidized patina. Once exposed to weather conditions and regularly wetted, the
material will quickly develop the classic rust/brown coloration. Please avoid placing raw
CORTEN STEEL directly on light-colored surfaces, as it may cause staining.
